It’s official! We are fully centered around and operated by everything “Apple.” In our recent technology update for work, we’ve incorporated an iPad into the mix thinking it will help with running multiple businesses, working for another and for myself – being a mom with a love for crafts and various hobbies. I’ve spent the past two days researching various apps specifically geared toward entrepreneurs who want to help others by sharing their knowledge through blogging. I’ve scrolled through dozens of “top 10” lists on the best iPad apps available to bloggers and eventually made my selection of the best iPad apps a flourishing entrepreneur with limited time, a lot of creativity and numerous big ideas could use on a daily basis. Here are the apps that made the Tenleaf 10:

Since I’ve promised that I would write more, this was the first step (or should I say leap) in sharing my knowledge and know-how. I know there are hundreds of thousands of apps out there, but with the popularity and ratings these apps have, it’s no wonder that these particular apps make an entrepreneurs life on-the-go a breeze.

  1. Blogsy – An absolute life saver when it comes to blogging on the go. Blogsy makes it incredibly easy and uniquely fun to set up your post, add links, images and directly connects drafts and posts ready for publish with your blog (in my case WordPress).
  2. Snapseed – Looking for a FREE photo app that has some of the top ways to customize and edit your photos? Look no further. This app has multiple advanced features that are sure to please, plus more add-on editing tools for purchase if you aren’t 110% satisfied with Snapseed’s free version.
  3. Hootsuite for Facebook & Twitter – This one saves time and eliminates visiting your favorite social media platforms everyday to post by scheduling full posts for future dates. The free version only allows up to two social media accounts, however, you can include more accounts for only $5.00 a month. Score!
  4. Tweetbot – The ultimate organized Twitter app for those of us who tweet almost as much as we breathe.  Lots of easy to use functions and allow you to view certain lists, tweet details and more.
  5. FlickstackerXP – Flickr quick and easy version to upload and edit your own photos as well as flip through thousands of others’ in a short amount of time.   This app lets you upload, edit  and Through FlickstackerXP, it also allows the user to freely download and use photos that others have made readily available for public use.
  6. Stumbleupon – Finding the latest and greatest articles and visuals before anyone else starts here. Become the master and guru of your field, interest, hobby, or random subject of the week through this app. This can also lead to amazing articles and pictures for your social media feeds and Pinterest boards.
  7. Penultimate – The GREATEST note-jotter you have ever seen.  This allows you to use your finger or fancy stylus to take notes at your next meeting or to sketch ideas in front of your clients. It offers three different “papers” to “write” on including, lined, graph and blank. It also offers various pen widths and colors.  For those of you who are obsessed with Evernote, this app syncs with your beloved app and makes your life and thoughts that much easier and organized.
  8. Pinterest – The creative and visual side of me would not be compete without this lovely, readily accessible app. Flipping through to spark fresh ideas and develop new designs is not only enjoyable, but useful and viewing larger images through an iPad is a delight.   9. Google Drive – Save your money and skip purchasing any iWorks apps at the App Store. This app has everything you need and covers your basic office software necessities. From documents to forms, Google has made this iPad app easy and enjoyable to use with a comparable Excel and Word program. Personally, I use this for my editorial calendar and giving clients price quotes.
  10. Wave – Finally, an app that understands how to create a simple and easy to use platform for keeping track of personal AND business finances. They also send helpful tips regularly and are constantly beefing up their app to outstanding levels. Pretty soon you’ll friends will be wondering how you can juggle it all (and without Quicken!).
